Chess data you provide

When you paste PGN or import games from Chess.com or Lichess, that content is processed locally in your browser (Stockfish runs client-side). We do not store your games on our servers unless you explicitly opt into a future cloud-sync feature.

Contact data

If you email us, we retain your message and email address so we can respond and follow up.

Data Retention

Technical logs are retained for up to 90 days. Support emails are retained as long as necessary to resolve the request. Analytics data follows the retention configured in Google Analytics (typically 14 months).

CheckItApp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

International Data Transfers

Our service is delivered globally via Cloudflare. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, hardened hosting, minimum data collection) to protect information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
